Universal Shift Equivalence Principle (USEP)

Where the Shift Equivalence Principle (SEP) fuses two separate sets of physical aw into one, the Universal Shift Equivalence Principle (USEP) goes one further, combining three sets of effects with a single set of equations: effects associated with velocity, gravitation and cosmological curvature.

It can be considered as a fusion of the Shift Equivalence Principle with the Horizon equivalence principle.

C20th gravitation theory is not compliant with the SEP or the HEP, either singly or together, and therefore is also not compliant with the USEP.



The USEP is not available within SR-based C20th physics, because C20th cosmology assumes that a distant receding redshifted body has two separate components obeying two different relationships – the Hubble shift component has to obey a simple Doppler formula, whereas the motion shift component has to obey the SR Doppler law, in order ot avoid invalidating special relativity.

In a theory that conforms to the USEp, a receding body's gravitational redshift, recessional redshift and cosmological redshift all have to obey exactly the same shift law.
